James Massa serves as the Head of Compliance Technology for Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan Chase. James Massa is a multi-patented inventor, including patents for AI and AI explainability and control. James is the repeat winner of the American Financial Technology Award for Best Compliance Initiative in 2022 (AI Insider trading detection) and 2021 (AI Explainability). He also won the FF Banking Tech Award for Best Use of RegTech in 2022 (AI News curation).
James holds master’s degrees in digital design from Harvard University and in Finance from the City University of New York. For his passion project, James is the co-founder and CTO of iLoveUkraine.org which sends humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
